Frequently Asked Questions

Are Cub Scouts meeting in person?

Our Pack follows all guidelines and requirements set by federal and state government and policies set by the Lake Washington School District and the individual schools we support. When ever possible we prefer to meet in person and outdoors. Each Den (groups of Scouts arranged by school grade) will determine their own meeting schedule.

How often do you meet?

Dens (groups of Scouts arranged by school grade) meet 2-3 times per month. Additionally all dens get together for a Pack meeting once a month.

How are things communicated?

All information is communicated via email. The Pack also has a Facebook group and Google Calendar for those who wish to use those.

When can my child join?

Scouting is a year-around program. Typically new Scouts join at the beginning of a school year, but your son or daughter can join at any time.

Can may daughter join?

Yes, beginning in June 2018 girls are invited to join Cub Scouts. Girls can participate in all the events and earn all badges that boys do. Cub Scouting is a family oriented organization.

How often do you go hiking or camping?

There are several opportunities, both at the Pack and Den level, to do outdoor activities. At a minimum our Pack attends Winter Camp at Camp Sheppard and Resident (Summer) Camp at Camp Edward.
