Getting Signed Up
- Register your child online via the Be A Scout website.
- Find our New Parent Orientation presentation at the top of our homepage.
- To participate in some of our outdoor activities we need a completed medical form. This also allows us to know if your child has any allergies or conditions we need to take into consideration.

Why Should My Child Join Cub Scouts?
We emphasize outdoor activities like hiking and camping, and incorporate STEM activities like coding and physics through fun activities including the Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, water-powered rockets, and more. Additionally, our pack strives to:
- Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in body, mind, and spirit.
- Foster a sense of personal achievement by developing new interests and skills.
- Help children develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship.
- Strengthen a child's ability to get along with others and to respect other people.
- Positively influence a child's character development.
Who Can Join Pack 571?
- Cub Scout Pack 571 primarily serves Rachel Carson and Samantha Smith Elementary schools but all interested children in the Sammamish area are welcome to join!
- We are a "family pack" welcoming boys and girls to join Pack 571.
- Pack 571 provides year-round programs for boys and girls Kindergarten through 5th grade.
